Summary The Marketing Coordinator supports BMH marketing and public relations initiatives. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual with passion for communication, design, and relationship building.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

Assist in managing BMH social media platforms, content creation, scheduling, response, tracking analytics.

Research trends, propose creative ideas, help grow digital presence.

Support website content updates, maintain brand consistency.

Event Support

Assist in planning, coordinating, executing marketing and foundation events.

Attend events, provide logistical support, on-site coordination.

Capture photos and video for campaigns.

Promotional Materials & Inventory

Research, order, track, distribute promotional items.

Maintain vendor relationships, ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Manage storage system for inventory.

Internal Communications

Handle interdepartmental communications, manage internal marketing requests.

Assist with employee newsletters, intranet content, internal branding initiatives.

Support leadership and staff with marketing needs.

Campaign Development & Production

Assist in planning, organizing, executing major marketing campaigns.

Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, community announcements.

Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, media partners.

Graphic Design & Creative Support

Assist in designing marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, digital graphics, presentations.

Ensure materials follow brand guidelines.

Provide creative input on campaign visuals and multimedia content.

Community Engagement

Represent BMH at community events and outreach.

Develop and maintain community contacts.

Track and report on community engagement initiatives.

Research, Reporting & Administrative Support

Conduct research on marketing best practices, audience insights, competitor activities.

Track campaign and event outcomes, provide reports.

Provide general administrative support including scheduling, filing, recordkeeping, invoice processing.

Required Skills, Qualifications, And Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.

Effective planning and project management abilities.

Ability to function independently, manage multiple projects.

Commitment to quality and excellence.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, design software.

Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing, analytics tools preferred.

Team-oriented, positive proactive attitude.

Physical Demands

Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, talking.

Frequently requires standing, fine dexterity, sitting, handling. Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching. Rarely requires climbing.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for event setup and takedown.

Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and community activities.

Travel Required

Significant time may be spent traveling between BMH facilities and to meetings, events, and other functions.

Required Education And Experience

1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.

Associate’s degree or higher in business, marketing, public relations, or other relevant field of study.

Preferred Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, public relations, or other relevant field of study.

1–2 years of graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable software).
