POSITION SUPERVISION:
Director of Marketing and Strategic Engagement POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the College’s mission by assisting with the coordination and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives. This position plays a key role in advancing institutional visibility, enrollment marketing, and community engagement through content creation, digital media, website management, event promotion, and internal communications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field from a regionally accredited institution is required. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in creative content development and outcomes-driven marketing. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, write, edit, and distribute engaging content for digital, print, and social media platforms. Serve as the College’s Graphic Designer and offer graphic design, branding, and marketing support. Assist in managing the College’s social media presence, including creating content calendars, monitoring analytics, and responding to inquiries. Track social media performance metrics and provide reports to the Director to inform future strategies. Serve as the official campus photographer for College publications and events. Provide marketing and communications support for College events. Maintain the College’s website, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency in content and public-facing design. Support enrollment marketing campaigns by developing content for advertising placements. Contribute to the development of newsletters and other internal communications. Ensure compliance with College brand standards, accessibility, and style guidelines in all materials. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Maintain stationary position, sitting or standing, for extended periods of time. Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Ability to maintain files in file cabinets.
