Senior Marketing Business Partner – Terracon Remote Only – United States (Western region)

Salary Range: $101,200 – $156,900 (base; may be adjusted based on location and qualifications)

General Responsibilities

Build relationships with marketing and client development teams, connecting staff and advising on tools, best practices, and available resources (marketing tools, collateral, public relations, CRM enhancements, and digital campaigns).

Serve as the marketing leader who oversees consistency efforts in Operations, focusing on quality control, onboarding strategy, training, overall marketing structure, and leadership development.

Communicate growth strategies and marketing tactics developed for growth areas (sectors and services) at the national level for adoption by regions and local offices.

Partner across the corporate marketing and communications department to engage resources and support in digital, PR, graphic design, etc., and facilitate the graphic design team to prioritize, plan, and produce impactful materials.

Partner with Operating Group client development teams regarding priority major pursuit strategy, including proposals, interview coaching, strategic national team connection, and mentoring; ensure deadlines are met with high quality and engage APRs/SMEs, ASLDs, Finance, Legal, Safety, etc. on major pursuits at onset.

Train, coach, and mentor teams on coordinating a war room, building the pursuit team, establishing team goals, and managing the team to increase chances of winning major pursuit projects.

Collaborate with Operations leadership teams to develop and drive marketing plans that align with regional business and growth plans.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and quality reviewer in developing and strategizing for pre‑sell materials, statements of qualifications, presentations, etc.

Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects and processes; monitor quality standards and practices.

Serve as a champion for all initiatives affecting client development and marketing.

Stay at the forefront of the latest research, trends, and industry topics and combine that knowledge with research training, tools, and resources to provide regional market data.

Organize, communicate, and track national thought leadership and award efforts.

Develop an understanding and be aware of project‑related risks; be familiar with company risk policies.

Assist the M&A team with marketing perspectives and lead the marketing‑specific tasks of the integration plans of acquisitions into the region.

Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines; responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment and promoting pre‑task planning for all projects.

Requirements

Candidates must be located within one of the states in the western territory: Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related degree and 12 years’ related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years’ related experience.

Demonstrated experience in the AEC industry.

Master’s degree preferred.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
