Leads a team of program managers and analysts that manage high‑profile programs with broad internal stakeholders and external partners. Oversees strategy, program design, implementation, compliance, reporting, and evaluation of all transportation electrification customer incentive and educational programs offered by ComEd to its residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Primary Duties
Lead the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting for residential and commercial & industrial transportation electrification customer programs under ComEd’s $60M/year Beneficial Electrification Plan. Manage portfolio budget, meet regulatory and statutory goals, and ensure efficient, effective, and compliant program delivery while maximizing customer satisfaction. Oversee program implementation contractors including development and delivery of KPIs. Track program and contractor performance via regular reporting and develop corrective actions as necessary. Lead the design and regulatory strategy for subsequent Beneficial Electrification Plan proposals and seek approval by the Illinois Commerce Commission via a Regulatory filing and in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Manage the process of “Request for Proposals” and awarding of contracts to vendors delivering and evaluating beneficial electrification programs and tools for ComEd’s customers. Maintain and further evolve ComEd’s presence, visibility, and leadership in the industry, staying current with evolving trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the energy sector. Lead the planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of transportation electrification customer programs as part of a Beneficial Electrification portfolio approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission. Hire and supervise/manage transportation electrification program implementation team consisting of program managers and business analysts. Provide daily oversight of various contractors and program fulfillment vendors. Create and sustain an environment that fosters ComEd corporate values and drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity of employees through the Performance Management Process. Number of personnel managed (direct): 3-6, (indirect): numerous contractors and vendors delivering programs. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field and 7-10 years related business experience. In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience. Advanced understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position. Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project) and ability to retrieve and analyze data. Ability to provide in‑depth analysis and apply managerial accounting concepts, customer intelligence gathering, forecasting, staff planning, scheduling, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial, business and budget analysis. Expert analytical skills for project evaluation including analysis of complex projects with economic, financial, risk and decision analysis. Proficient in business case development and modeling including ability to create what‑if scenarios analysis and simplify models to match available information. Ability to effectively present business cases to business unit leadership. Demonstrated ability in leading cross‑functional or cross‑organizational project teams. Advanced knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis) benchmarking and audit compliance. Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets. Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change. Demonstrated advanced skills in problem solving, negotiation, conflict management and business acumen to foster relationships with partners. Customer‑driven with good oral and written communications skills. Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in business or engineering or related discipline. Program and contract management experience. Experience in the transportation electrification and utility sector. 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Outstanding communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and effectively to audiences of different backgrounds and to the media. Experience managing income‑eligible programs. Benefits
Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $114,400.00/Yr. – $157,300.00/Yr.
