Position Objective

Functional Responsibilities
Understand, model, and ensure associate commitment to brand culture, policies, and procedures, holding associates accountable.
Recruit, attract, select, hire, retain, and develop talent; proactively fill positions and develop succession plans.
Partner with design and merchandising leaders through the product life cycle and season‑related product development.
Lead merchandising activities to achieve healthy product turnover and gross margin.
Ensure continuous compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Guarantee selling behaviors align with brand expectations via observation and coaching.
Support in‑store company‑sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
Analyze reporting to identify opportunities and create proactive strategies for business needs and customer experience.
Execute visual merchandising updates and product placement within brand guidelines.
Articulate brand positioning and educate associates on lifestyle, concepts, and product knowledge.
Manage controllable expenses through effective scheduling and financial discipline.
Interpret current market trends and communicate them using brand insights during customer interactions.
Lead, direct, and drive execution of tasks with high productivity.
Confirm schedules support business peaks, associate availability, and operational tasks.
Maintain compliance with operational guidelines, health and safety protocols, asset protection policies, and applicable laws.

Qualifications
High school required; some college or bachelor’s degree preferred.
18 years old or older.
5+ years of supervisory/management experience in retail, with 2 years in a store manager role.
Proven ability to recruit, select, develop, and retain a full store team and hold individuals accountable.
Experience fostering team commitment and creating a positive, inclusive environment.
Role model ensuring customer remains top priority.
Strong organizational, delegation, prioritization, deadline management, and follow‑up skills.
Knowledge of visual standards and ability to implement them.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to forecast, analyze trends, act on findings, manage payroll, and deliver sales results.
Initiative, prioritization, and minimal supervision in meeting deadlines.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical activity required; may lift up to 50 pounds.
