The
HR Generalist
is primarily responsible for the operational and administrative components of the HR function across Wargaming’s US studios. This position will provide day-to-day HR Operations support to several Business Units as well as employees located in multiple states across the US. In other words, this is a Generalist position with elements of HRBP scope.
The HR Generalist will operate under some level of autonomy, so we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about serving as the expert in their areas of domain, operating with a sense of ownership over their work. This position is part of a small HR team in the US, and the global Wargaming HR community, so we’re looking for an individual who is collaborative, flexible, and ready/willing to “dive in” to get the job done.
Reports to What will you do? Employee Support & HR Operations
Provide full-cycle HR
support for employees across the North American region, including onboarding and offboarding, background checks, relocations, immigration/work authorizations, leave administration, employment verifications, and performance management support.
Serve as a key point of contact
for day-to-day employee and manager inquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolution or escalation of complex issues.
Maintain accurate employee data and personnel documentation
across all HR systems and files.
Partner with the Accounting team
to ensure accurate payroll-related information on benefits and leaves of absence.
Support local product and business stakeholders
on people-related matters, including performance, compensation, and change management.
Benefits & Compensation Administration
Administer employee benefits programs , including invoice reconciliation, vendor management, audits and compliance reviews, annual open enrollment, and communication with employees and carriers.
Monitor and ensure data integrity
and integration between payroll and benefit systems.
Manage HR-related invoices
and coordinate timely reconciliation and submission for payment.
Learning, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate and track mandatory and non-mandatory training , such as health & safety, anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, cross-cultural, and company-sponsored programs.
Ensure and maintain compliance
with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and recommend improvements to align with best practices.
Stay informed of HR trends, legal updates, and emerging technologies , especially in the areas of immigration, benefits, talent acquisition, and employment law.
Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team
to support recruiting and onboarding efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams
to ensure alignment of HR processes and consistent employee experience across the organization.
Perform other duties and projects
as assigned to support the HR function and broader business goals.
What are we looking for? Experience & Technical Expertise
2+ years of comprehensive, hands-on HR experience
across multiple functions (e.g., employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations), preferably within a multinational, high-tech environment.
Experience managing employee immigration processes , including visas and employer-sponsored green cards.
Thorough knowledge of employment and benefits-related laws and regulations.
PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification
preferred.
Systems & Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
and ability to quickly learn HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues effectively.
Strong business acumen
and a proven record as a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and dynamic environment.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Personal Qualities
Self-motivated and energetic , with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity

Onsite (4-5 days per week in the office).
