MicroVision is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Finance team. As a key member, you will provide management and investors with timely, accurate information and be responsible for general accounting duties including month‑end journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and the preparation of standard financial reports. Responsibilities
Prepare month‑end journal entries with supporting documentation. Reconcile inventory subsidiary ledger and ensure GAAP compliance. Record investment activities and analyze revenue contracts for GAAP compliance. Analyze expense accounts for correct coding and accrual of liabilities. Apply ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Maintain fixed asset subsidiary ledger and monthly reconciliations. Assist in consolidation, eliminating intercompany activities and preparing financial statements. Support internal and external audit processes and SEC reporting. Identify process improvements and lead related projects. Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and provide support during year‑end close. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent). 5–7 years of related experience. Experience with monthly close processes. Knowledge of ASC 842 and ASC 606. Strong general ledger and account reconciliation skills. Advanced MS Excel and ERP experience, preferably in NetSuite. Detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of communicating across the organization. Flexible with overtime during quarter‑end and year‑end close cycles. Preferred: High‑tech or R&D industry experience. E‑EO & Legal
