Senior Accountant
Location: Central Phoenix | Hybrid Schedule Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 In This Role, You Will:
Execute monthly closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports aligned with GAAP. Manage the general ledger and review monthly income statements and balance sheets. Interpret and record lease transactions according to ASC 842 standards. Ensure proper lease classification, disclosure, and accurate transaction recognition. Oversee lease schedules, and reconcile right-of-use assets and liabilities. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in accounting. Analyze financial outcomes and provide insights into KPIs. Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and perform reconciliations. Support special projects while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data. Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams for accurate reporting. Research and apply accounting standards for complex scenarios. You're a Great Fit If You Have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics. Minimum of 6 years' experience. Proven advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ASC 842 (Lease) accounting. Knowledge of ASC 606 is preferred.
