Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and grow our presence in the sports market segment, with a specific focus on promoting and selling our Las Vegas hotels and resorts. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives targeting professional, collegiate, and amateur sports organizations, governing bodies, and event organizers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sports industry, strong relationships within the sector, and a proven track record of driving revenue through strategic partnerships and group bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a national sales strategy to grow market share within the sports segment, with a primary focus on driving business to our Las Vegas properties.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at sports organizations, including leagues, teams, athletic departments, and event planners.

Revenue Generation: Drive group bookings, long‑term contracts, and event‑based business specifically for our Las Vegas hotels and resorts, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in the sports travel and hospitality industry, identifying new opportunities and competitive threats.

Collaboration: Work closely with regional sales teams, revenue management, and hotel operations to ensure seamless execution of sports‑related business in Las Vegas.

Event Representation: Represent the brand at industry trade shows, sports conferences, and client events to promote our Las Vegas offerings and build brand awareness.

Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field.

Minimum 5‑7 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on the sports market.

Established network within professional, collegiate, and/or amateur sports organizations.

Proven ability to close complex deals and manage long sales cycles.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with a large hotel brand or multi‑property portfolio.

Familiarity with the Las Vegas hospitality and events market.

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi).

Passion for sports and understanding of sports event logistics.
