Responsibilities As a Staffing Consultant you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This full‑cycle recruiting role encompasses sourcing, placing, and coaching candidates through the hiring process. You will engage with candidates via phone, email, or in‑person conversations, build strong relationships, and guide them from resume editing to post‑interview support. In addition to recruiting, you will discuss open positions with your team, post job advertisements, and utilize online sourcing tools and resources.
Identify prospective candidates – via job board search tools, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, professional networking
Interview prospective candidates
Prep candidates for interviews with client companies – review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews
Deliver the good news – extend job offers and manage the offer process for candidates
Reach out to candidates who are on assignment – make sure they have everything they need
Proactive cold calling to identify prospective candidates
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
A love for working with people
A tenacious degree of self‑motivation
Leadership skills and a competitive drive
Confidently exercise discretion and independent judgment about businesses and people
An incessant drive to meet goals and metrics
