Senior Accountant – Advisory Services

Plano, TX (Hybrid)
As a Senior Accountant in our Accounting Advisory practice, you’ll serve as a strategic contributor on high-impact client engagements. We’re looking for a results-driven accounting professional with strong technical chops and a consulting mindset—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes full ownership, and delivers financial excellence with confidence.

What You'll Do
Own the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and other core accounting functions
Lead daily and monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the board
Operate within robust internal controls and document processes with precision
Play a critical role in monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
Respond to ad hoc financial and operational requests with insight and clarity
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and other key projects tied to finance systems and reporting
Stay sharp on U.S. GAAP and evolving accounting standards
Go beyond the books—leverage our consulting framework to provide strategic value that makes you indispensable
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent communicator—clear, confident, and client-ready
Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and present findings to leadership
Comfortable taking the lead on meetings, deliverables, and stakeholder management
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, etc.)
Bonus Points
Active CPA license
Experience in public accounting
Exposure to insurance, financial services, or banking
Knowledge of SEC reporting or work in publicly traded companies
SAP experience

Compensation The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between $75,000 and $115,000.
