Project Billing Specialist RINA is recruiting for a Project Billing Specialist to join its office in Chicago or Lisle, IL within the Americas Finance Division.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $50,000 - $56,000 commensurate with education and experience.

Key Accountabilities

Collect and track compliance documents including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) reporting to public sector clients.

Review contracts for billing and reporting requirements.

Set up and maintain billing tables in accordance with contract terms.

Analyze project reports to provide updates of project status to key stakeholders, including budget, risk, issues, compliance, etc.

Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Project Controls Leads regarding contract documents, change orders, approvals, and billing related items.

Research any unbilled issues and accelerate billings to optimize cash flow.

Maintain documentation of billings, including expenses, consultant invoices, and all corresponding backup.

Work with Accounts Receivable to resolve and reconcile any variances that occur in the application of cash.

Maintain unit table for fleet vehicles.

Process vendor and subcontractor invoices accurately and within the assigned timeline.

Qualifications

Professional billing/accounting experience or Associate degree with relevant coursework.

Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). Working knowledge of Deltek a plus.

Proven ability to employ problem-solving and analysis skills.

Strong client service orientation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and set priorities.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
