Division. Mission
RINA is currently seeking for a motivated and dedicated Junior Process Engineer to join the Hydra Project team, supporting activities on the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP), part of a new green steel production process based on hydrogen (H₂). The role involves supporting commissioning and daily plant operations, developing and updating standard operating procedures, and contributing to the optimization of the production process, with a strong focus on OPEX-related KPIs and continuous improvement, to contribute to an innovative and sustainable industrial transformation. Key Accountabilities
Assist during commissioning and ramp-up phases. Support day-to-day process engineering activities on the DRP plant. Help define, review, and maintain operating procedures and technical documentation. Contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs. Analyze process data and performance indicators to support improvements. Collaborate with teams including R&D, Operations, HSE, and Maintenance in a multidisciplinary environment. #LI-IG1 Education
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Qualifications
0–2 years of experience, preferably in industrial or plant engineering (experience with plant contractors is a plus). Interest in green technologies and hydrogen-based processes.
