Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the administration and enhancement of our Microsoft Intune environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient management of Windows-based endpoints. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement in endpoint security and performance.
Core Duties
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Windows devices via Microsoft Intune.
Establish and maintain device compliance rules, conditional access policies, and security configurations.
Manage application delivery and updates through Intune.
Identify and address system vulnerabilities; coordinate patching and security updates.
Resolve advanced technical issues related to Intune enrollment, policy application, and connectivity.
Design and implement custom configuration profiles to optimize device functionality and security.
Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to align endpoint strategies with organizational goals.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps thoroughly.
Monitor industry developments in Intune, Windows OS, and endpoint security to inform best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in IT systems administration, with at least 3 years specializing in Microsoft Intune.
Strong command of Windows operating systems (10/11, Server), Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
Hands‑on experience with Intune MDM/MAM, device provisioning, and policy enforcement.
Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and patch management processes.
Proven ability to troubleshoot across Intune, Windows, and network layers.
Knowledge of security standards such as NIST and CIS, and endpoint protection strategies.
Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
Strong interpersonal, documentation, and collaboration capabilities.
Integration of SCCM with Intune for hybrid endpoint management.
Exposure to alternative MDM platforms like Jamf or NinjaOne.
Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and modern workplace technologies.
