Shipping Supervisor

Job Purpose
Sanmina Corporation is leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving high-growth EMS market segments. The Shipping Supervisor ensures finished goods are packaged and shipped according to specification and in a timely manner while managing a team, staffing decisions, training, performance management, and inventory control. Responsibilities
Receive, store, and ship materials or finished goods. Place products received in the shipping department in proper inventory locations and ship them timely. Pick orders to meet shipping schedules. Maintain documentation of department effectiveness and efficiency. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records. Lift heavy items and operate a forklift, standing up, sitting down rider, and hand pallet jack. Follow all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct, and attendance. Support production team to coordinate order availability. Supervise clerks engaged in shipping, storing, and receiving. Report damages or discrepancies for record-keeping. Assist with inventory counts of finished goods and packaging materials. Inspect warehouse physical condition and suggest improvements to save time or reduce costs. Ensure all products shipped are in excellent condition. Train staff on company procedures and conduct inventory counts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 4-6 years of experience managing materials handling, receiving, inventory control, shipping, and logistics personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and preferred Oracle knowledge. Crating, packaging, and international shipping experience preferred. Must work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Team player capable of interacting with multiple internal and external customers. Read and understand English. Flexible with schedule changes and work extended hours when required. Lift 50 lbs. Intermediate computer skills, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Salary and Benefits
