Role Overview CACI is seeking an experienced Oracle database administrator to support government financial management processes. The role will maintain multiple Oracle and PostgreSQL databases across unclassified and classified environments, support CaaS, DevOps, Zero Trust, and new data tagging initiatives, and work in a hybrid location in the Washington DC area.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA activities and special projects including application rehosting migrations.
Perform installation, upgrade, patching of applications, databases, and tools.
Apply database and application performance tuning techniques.
Support and maintain backup and recovery activities using Oracle RMAN.
Recommend process improvements to increase productivity.
Provide on-call support to production environments when required, including weekend support.
Support password resets for server and database accounts.
Work cooperatively with functional and technical staff to meet timelines and deliverables.
Assist in managing multiple Oracle and PostgreSQL database instances.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years experience administering Oracle databases, including versions 12 or newer.
7+ years experience administering Oracle WebLogic/Fusion Middleware.
5+ years experience architecting database solutions.
5+ years experience working with Oracle Identity Management products.
2+ years experience administering PostgreSQL databases.
Experience supporting Cloud database instances.
Experience with DevOps platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Atlassian Suite).
8570 IAT Level II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE).
Minimum current DoD Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired
Experience supporting Qlik Sense business analytics.
Experience supporting planning, programming, budgeting, and execution databases.
Experience with data analytics, data tagging, data transformation.
Experience with MySQL and MS SQL Server.
Pay Range: $103,800 - $218,100.
