Real Estate Development Manager

The Real Estate Development Manager leads and coordinates development projects from acquisition and entitlement through construction and disposition. The Manager will oversee projects, manage external consultants and contractors, and act as the primary internal owner of the project delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery for a portfolio of developments (site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting, etc.).
Develop and maintain project pro formas and schedule baselines; monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions.
Manage the entitlement and permitting process: coordinate with consultants to prepare and submit application materials, work with planners and municipal staff, and lead community outreach when required.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks (market, entitlement, cost, schedule); recommend and implement risk-mitigation strategies.
Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, or Architecture.
3-5 years of progressively responsible real estate development experience (or equivalent in acquisitions, project management, construction management, or development consulting). Manager-level experience in San Francisco Bay Area preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable communicating with municipal staff.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
