Principal Engineer Systems – Active Interim Secret Clearance
Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support the Next Generation Launch Equipment (NGLE) program in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on MBSE (Cameo) and DOORS support and requires strong digital engineering capabilities.
Essential Functions
Work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment on the NGLE SEIT team.
Interface regularly with program management, engineering staff, and external customers.
Scope and align digital engineering capabilities with program tasks.
Present materials for critical review presentations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience; or Master’s with 3+ years; or PhD with 1 year.
U.S. citizenship required.
US DoD Interim Secret clearance, or higher at application.
Clear technical communication to technical and nontechnical personnel.
Strong problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with MBSE (Cameo) and DOORS.
Autonomous task completion drive.
Experience in systems engineering efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
MBSE expertise (Cameo).
Benefits Competitive salary range: $95,300.00 – $142,900.00. Northrop Grumman offers overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentives for VP/Director positions, health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
