With 263 rooms, 38,000 square feet of event space, and 2 restaurants plus 3 bars, this is the new home for Washington, D.C.’s most consequential events, groundbreaking meetings, and unforgettable experiences.

In this role, you will manage day‑to‑day operations of Peacock Alley, overseeing a team of 3 Food and Beverage Managers, 30 Front of House Team Members and reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate:

Annual salary $110,000 – $120,000. Medical Insurance Coverage:

What will I be doing? Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation, enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation. Monitor and develop team member performance to include supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations and recognition and reward. Create and maintain customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategy. Maximize efficiency of technology system(s) such as Open Table. Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Initiate and implement up‑selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including creating new menus and cross‑selling products and services hotel‑wide. Recruit, interview and train team members.
