Position Overview The position will be housed within the School of Management at the USF St. Petersburg campus. The School of Management at USF’s Muma College of Business offers cutting‑edge undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs on three campuses (Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota‑Manatee) in Management and Entrepreneurship, in addition to several graduate certificate programs. While this position is based in St. Petersburg, teaching assignments may occur on any campus.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

A PhD or DBA in Human Resource Management or a related discipline or a terminal degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Significant professional work and teaching experience in human resource management.

Evidence of superior teaching ability in human resource management topics at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Meets or can meet the College’s criteria for AACSB‑qualified designations.

Evidence of ability to make service contributions to the university and the profession.

General business knowledge and/or experience.

Reputation of program(s) and organizations where candidate was previously employed.

Responsibilities

Effectively teach courses in Strategic Management, International Business, and possibly other courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, using in‑person, hybrid and online modalities.

Teach 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester totaling 8 courses per year.

Maintain AACSB qualifications and demonstrate willingness and ability to keep the program accredited.

Compensate for summer courses, when scheduled, in addition to the base salary.

Employment Characteristics This is a full‑time, 9‑month position.
