Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program

Publish in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to high-impact scholarship

Teach and mentor students across programs

Engage in service at the college, university, and community levels

Qualifications

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

Additional Minimum Requirements

Proven or potential for extramural funding and scholarly productivity

If a nurse, must be eligible for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida.

Research focus aligned with the College’s priorities (e.g., aging, cancer, HIV, sleep, health equity)
