Assistant Professor - Headache (Neurology)
The Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking academically-oriented neurologists specializing in Headache Medicine to provide outpatient and inpatient clinical care. Candidates must hold an M.D. degree and be licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Florida. The appointment will be commensurate with experience; skilled clinical neurologists from private practice backgrounds will also be considered.
This position offers opportunities for teaching medical students and residents, and participation in a diverse department with comprehensive divisions offering state-of-the-art services and clinical trials in Headache Neurology. Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes, plus four years of relevant experience. Residency completion may substitute for experience.
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field, with a demonstrated record in teaching, research, and service. Must meet university criteria for Assistant Professor rank.
