Web Application Developer (Full Stack/Healthcare)
Location: Westlake, OH
We are seeking Web Application Developers (full stack) to work in a direct hire role with our client in Westlake, OH. No 3rd party candidates will be considered for this role.
We are looking for a strong, take charge individual to use their knowledge of programming languages to code websites and web applications for an exciting entrepreneurial company. The Web Developer will fill a crucial role within the organization their duties include communicating with clients to determine their needs and design preferences, creating code for the front and back-end of a website and running tests to ensure that they used the correct code strings.
Duties and responsibilities
Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
Provide continued support for one or more web properties in our production environment.
Working with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website.
Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors.
Document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it.
Aptitude for reviewing existing code and providing enhancements to our software systems.
Qualifications Undergraduate degree Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
Strong C# .NET and object-oriented programming background
Experience with custom integrations including SDKs, and REST web services, JSON
Experience developing .NET 8 and .NET Core console applications, and web services
Modern JavaScript/HTML/CSS web application development using libraries like Blazer, Angular, React, etc. including responsive design/mobile first concepts
Basic knowledge of SQL Server (2019 or higher) including the ability to write queries utilizing joins, aggregations, ETL, and query plans
Experience with source code version control systems (specifically Azure Devops)
Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams
Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, and issue resolution
An ability to work independently and as part of a team in solving business problems
Solid ability in both written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills
Experience with Blazer
Exposure to ML/AI/LLM
Experience with a health insurance company, TPA, or claim processor and a thorough understanding on the underlying structure of claims transactions
Experience with Healthcare EDI standards such as 835s
Experience with job scheduling tools such as ActiveBatch
