We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant (Employee Relations Business Partner) to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Phoenix, AZ. This role will focus on employee relations, HR policy administration, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. The position requires hands‑on involvement in HR investigations, employee engagement, and supporting organizational HR initiatives.
This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role requiring strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. The selected candidate will be primarily remote but must be available for occasional onsite duties related to New Employee Orientation (NEO) and other HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct employee relations investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions. Provide guidance on HR policies, employment laws, and compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related regulations. Support managers and employees with performance, conduct, and workplace issue resolution. Assist in developing and implementing HR procedures, policies, and best practices. Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal HR teams to ensure consistent handling of employee matters. Perform administrative HR duties as assigned, supporting day‑to‑day HR operations. Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of all employee‑related cases. Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in HR practices and employee relations investigations. Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, ADA, and related compliance areas. Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM‑CP/SCP are a plus. Seniority level
