Position: HR Administrator
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $55,000/year
Location: Louisa, VA
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Administrator to support key human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a proactive attitude toward building and supporting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Support employee recruitment and retention efforts.
Post and manage job openings and coordinate interviews.
Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and benefits documentation.
Process weekly payroll and ensure accurate deductions.
Administer PTO, time, and attendance tracking.
Assist with benefit renewals, open enrollment, and compliance reporting.
Coordinate annual reporting requirements (ACA, 401k testing, etc.).
Support the performance review process (tracking and documentation).
Handle employee relations and HR policy communication.
Support workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
Coordinate employee training and development logistics.
Manage termination and offboarding processes.
Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and maintain OSHA 300 reporting.
Must‑Haves
1–3 years of HR administrative experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
