Overview

Human Resources (HR) Manager – responsible for leading the strategic and tactical human resources functions for the local market or division. The incumbent will maintain compliance with Federal and State Laws, oversee employment actions from recruiting to terminating associates, advise managers on policies, and deliver HR services in accordance with Arvest Bank’s best practice standards. Responsibilities

Serve as a resource to associates on HR matters, interpret policies, and address employee issues. Maintain knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR management and advise management accordingly. Lead diversity and cross‑cultural efforts under the direction of the Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Develop and implement strategic staffing plan, coordinate with Talent Acquisition team, oversee outreach and recruitment efforts, and conduct job interviews. Oversee associate development effort, including leadership development, succession planning, talent review, and career pathing. Advise managers on documenting and counseling associates for discipline and performance problems. Oversee and direct the review of any associate complaint of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation and recommend resolution. Conduct and approve annual reporting such as Salary Review for Management, Performance Appraisal reporting, NMLS Membership/Renewals, and Required Training reporting. Ensure personnel files are maintained in compliance with Bank requirements, federal, state, and local laws. Attend meetings such as HR Peer group, bank manager meetings, seminars, training programs, and schools. Build relationships and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to inform and design HR plans and activities. Understand and comply with bank policy, BSA/AML Program, complete compliance training, and report any known violations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. 7 years exempt‑level HR experience required (employment and selection, employee relations, and employment law). Experience advising management on federal and state employment laws required. Strong business insight and understanding of HR and human capital strategies required. Capacity to manage complex projects and develop consensus required. 2 years of management experience preferred. SHRM‑SCP and/or SPHR preferred. Master’s or other graduate degree preferred. Benefits
