We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Vice President of Sales
to lead our growing sales organization. This leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both
new customer acquisition
and
expansion of our installed base , while building a scalable and repeatable sales model. The VP of Sales will oversee a team of Sales Directors who manage quota-carrying Account Managers and New Logo Account Executives, and will play a critical role in shaping strategy, optimizing performance, and developing top-tier sales talent.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a sales executive who thrives in transactional, high-velocity environments (hosting, SaaS, telco, payments, or similar industries), and knows how to balance scale, process discipline, and customer-centric selling.
You will define and execute our sales strategy, ensuring alignment with our company’s business goals and customer needs. This role requires deep knowledge of sales solutions for hosting services, cloud solutions, and managed services, along with a strong ability to lead and inspire a team. You will report into our Chief Growth Officer and partner with the Executive team to drive the go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy across customer segments, balancing growth from new logos and expansion in the installed base.
Build, manage, and coach a high-performing team of Sales Directors who oversee Account Managers and New Logo Account Executives.
Own and optimize the sales funnel, from lead generation to conversion and retention, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI.
Implement structured, repeatable processes for lead follow-up, account prioritization, upsell/cross-sell plays, and pipeline management.
Partner with marketing, channel, product, customer success, and finance to align strategy, messaging, and execution.
Use CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, 6sense, etc.) to measure pipeline health, forecast accurately, and optimize team performance.
Stay on top of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to refine positioning and sales approaches and provide feedback back to the product team.
Recruit, train, and mentor sales leaders and reps; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to continuously optimize sales strategies.
Act as a key member of the leadership team, driving the business forward, reporting progress, challenges, and opportunities directly to the Chief Growth Officer and executive team.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand reputation and establish thought leadership.
Travel as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
10+ years of proven sales leadership experience
Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams, achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Proven ability to negotiate successfully and close complex contracts
Strong understanding of web hosting services (shared, VPS, dedicated, cloud hosting, managed hosting) and market dynamics
Great negotiating skills with the ability to influence people at all levels
Thrives in a team environment and has a history in developing trusted relationships
Proficiency with CRM tools, sales automation, and analytics tools
Excellent leadership and relationship management skills
