Residency Coordinator Inside Higher Ed seeks a Residency Coordinator to manage undergraduate and graduate student petitions for in-state residency, ensure compliance with USM Board of Regents policies, evaluate residency status, serve as main point of contact, manage Maryland Dream Act population, maintain online petition, troubleshoot systems, and assist with reenrollment applications.

Responsibilities

Process undergraduate and graduate petitions for in-state residency, review documentation, follow up on missing materials, and make determinations per policy.

Evaluate residency status for reenrollment, perform outreach, and maintain consistency with documentation requirements.

Serve as main point of contact for residency inquiries, respond to emails, phone calls, walk-ups, and provide documentation to the Residency Appeal Committee and administration.

Manage Maryland Dream Act student population, review data, outreach for backup documentation, and make in-state determinations.

Maintain online Residency Petition, troubleshoot issues, update PeopleSoft and Salesforce, assist with audits, participate in meetings, create and update procedure manuals, and perform miscellaneous office duties.

Assist with processing online reenrollment applications in Salesforce and Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, serve as backup for special registration programs, and participate in special projects as assigned by Associate and Assistant Directors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and two years of professional experience in higher education or related office experience.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong organization and prioritization.

High attention to detail.

Ability to review detailed information and make impactful decisions.

Microsoft Word knowledge and strong writing skills.

Preferred

Experience in Registrar, Student Billing, Financial Aid, or Admissions university positions.

Knowledge of Peoplesoft Campus Solutions (SIS), Perceptive Content, Salesforce (CRM), DocuSign, and Forms Assembly.
