This role reports to the AVE SE&I MS&A leadership and requires providing technical authority across the AVE segment for Mission Engineering requirements. What You’ll Get To Do

As an Engineering Manager (S03) of the AVE SEI MS&A Mission Engineering team, you will guide Mission Engineering efforts across the AVE. This includes overseeing trajectory analysis (3 and 6 DOF), 6DOF simulation development, targeting program development, and operational analysis in support of AVE mission objectives. Tools and analyses cover payload-to-range analysis, post-boost vehicle maneuverability, weapon system effectiveness against threats, accuracy, vehicle environments characterization, and flight test predictions. You will lead the Mission Engineering team, assign tasks, ensure completion, and provide technical authority on Mission Engineering requirements. You will interface with various IPTs to inform data and results for decision-making. Position Benefits

Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access as required Experience managing people (preferred) ICBM experience Minimum 5 years in Trajectory Analysis or Operational Analysis Experience in Program Execution, Staffing, Engineering Metrics and Training resources, and related tools/processes These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have

Decision-making in uncertain/difficult situations Experience leading a team through an EMD program in compliance with requirements Strong communication skills for high-value customer presentations and multi-project focus Experience in Agile environments and knowledge of JIRA Strong sense of urgency and work ethic to meet customer/program expectations Technical writing experience and ability to communicate technical content to senior leadership Experience working with customers and senior leadership to ensure project success Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00. Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for VP/Director levels.
