Goose Creek CISD - Director of Information Services
Description/Notes:
Coordinate the district’s use of Finance, HR, and Student software for finance/HR processes, scheduling, instruction, grade reporting, testing, and attendance. Define, develop, and perform the role of data administration management, setting district-wide data standards and reporting requirements for the collection, delivery, and use of the data in support of GCCISD’s commitment to accountability and transparency.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Extent sive Knowledge of Finance/HR and Student Information Systems and data management

Extensive Knowledge of Finance/HR and Student Information Systems and data management
Knowledge of state PEIMS, attendance requirements, and procedures
Knowledge in all aspects of computer operations, including data entry, editing, and the ability to identify computer program errors through reviewing data and reports
Ability to analyze complex information
Ability to meet established deadlines
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with others
Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in an Information Systems and/or PEIMS-related position. Experience with data warehousing strategies, such as Microsoft SQL or a comparable database.
Driving:
Valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable.
Salary Range $100,800 - $120,964 dependent upon experience
