Overview Access World is a global commodities warehousing and logistics business specializing in handling, storage and movement of commodities and finished products. We manage non-ferrous and ferrous metals, ferroalloys, project cargo, oil & gas and agricultural products. We are an approved warehouse keeper of the London Metal Exchange and provide LME warehousing and related services, including freight forwarding, customs clearance and transport management. We operate worldwide with semi-autonomous regional offices in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East, and the US, each with Commercial, Finance, HR, Compliance, Legal, Customer Service, and Operations functions.

Purpose of the Position Responsible for overseeing the financial and management reporting functions for all U.S. entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant delivery of financial information in line with Access World Group and stakeholder requirements. Acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and Department Heads to enhance profitability and strengthen data-driven decision-making through improved financial insight and analytics.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial and management reports.

Lead local or regional finance teams and oversee their daily operations; work closely with finance teams across the Americas region, and with the group finance function.

Review, enhance, streamline and monitor finance workflows and processes to drive reporting improvements, achieve efficiencies and enhance decision making ability.

Design, manage and monitor internal financial controls within the Group framework to ensure financial information is accurate and complete, and that risk of fraud, misstatement and error is mitigated.

Ensure effective cash management and treasury functions are in place.

Prepare the annual budget for all USA legal entities and prepare regular forecasting.

Produce insightful analysis of results including retrospective interpretation of performance, understanding of business drivers, KPI's, trend analysis, and predictive forecasting.

As a business finance partner, contribute to strategic planning and provide financial insights and advice to business function teams and the General Manager.

Manage the external audit process.

Liaise with external professionals and government bodies on tax, secretarial and other issues to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for the region and the Group.

Lead, coach, and mentor the finance staff, taking responsibility for their development.

Reinforce Access World Group culture, values and reputation; ensure compliance to Group policies.

Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

Senior-level experience in financial leadership roles.

Experience leading finance teams and coordinating with regional and group finance functions.

Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics capabilities.

Experience with internal controls, external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to travel within the region.

Location This position may be filled in Peru or Baytown, Texas.
