The Regional Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Express standard work is executed in accordance with corporate, airline, line of business, and regulatory safety/Security requirements. This role drives consistency and continuous improvement across multiple stations by following up on safety/security incidents, analyzing incident trends, and developing proactive risk mitigation plans to maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation. Responsibilities

Standard Work Compliance Partner with station leadership to ensure all Express standard operating procedures (SOPs) are understood, implemented, and audited for safety /security compliance. Facilitate regular safety and security audits and gap-closure actions to reinforce consistent execution of standard work. Safety /Security Incident Follow-Up & Investigation Serve as a regional SME during investigations, and assist local leadership with root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action tracking. Coordinate with Airline Partners, Corp Safety and Security departments. Trend Analysis & Reporting Collect and analyze audit data across the region. Identify patterns, emerging risks, and lead indicators to prioritize focus areas. Develop, implement, and monitor regional safety and security action plans targeting identified risks and compliance gaps. Evaluate effectiveness of mitigation strategies and adjust plans based on performance data. Training & Coaching Design and deliver safety and security training programs (e.g., new-hire safety orientation, refresher courses, leadership walk-throughs). Coach station managers and frontline supervisors on safety and security best practices, behavior-based safety, and incident prevention. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through recognition of safe behaviors. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the SME and liaison between station operations, corporate safety/security, and third-party service providers. Advise on facility design and layout changes to optimize traffic flows, ergonomics, and emergency egress. Represent WFS Express safety priorities in regional leadership forums. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Work environment is warehouse and ramp conditions with seasonal weather Occasional requirement to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Minimum 5 years of progressive safety experience in logistics, aviation, distribution, or high-volume warehouse operations. Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action planning. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in safety data systems and MS Excel or comparable analysis tools. Excellent communication and coaching skills; ability to influence across all levels of the organization. In‑depth knowledge industry safety standards. Ability to travel regularly across the assigned region and work flexible hours as needed. BA in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience). WFS is an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity and inclusion.
