We are redefining the Smarsh Communication Intelligence Platform by creating a powerful ecosystem of partners and API-driven integrations. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager for APIs and Partner Integrations to drive our platform extensibility strategy with APIs and to expand our partnership initiatives in the ecosystem, leveraging these APIs. This role is critical to creating new revenue levers through strategic collaborations with customers and partners. The Principal Product Manager will report to the VP of Product and will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to establish Smarsh as an Open, Extensible, Intelligent data platform leader to drive innovative solutions from customers and partners. Responsibilities

Define and drive data enrichment capabilities using AI/ML and extend the data platform with API-driven capabilities to create new opportunities for growth. Write PRDs with business cases, manage product roadmap and prioritize with our engineering teams. Drive AI-powered enrichments & API monetization: develop and oversee monetization strategies, ensuring balanced entitlements and competitive safeguarding to foster innovation while protecting COGS. Identify, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships with the Enterprise Partner Team. Scope includes defining use cases that enhance joint customer value proposition, drive platform capabilities, enrichments and API adoption with joint roadmaps and create win-win opportunities for all stakeholders. Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market strategies that drive enablement, adoption, and long-term success. Collaborate with other Product Managers to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes for development. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product management with focus on technology integrations or platform within a SaaS, data-driven products, or API-driven business. 3+ years of experience applying AI/ML models to data platforms to derive insights and enrich the data. Technical fluency in platform extensibility and an understanding of how partner ecosystems drive innovation and scalability. Customer & partner-focused mindset, ensuring roadmaps align with customer needs and drive measurable impact. Ability to collaborate across R&D, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales. Experience with software engineering and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma. Growth mindset and a commitment to quality. Ability to influence and work across different teams in different time zones. This role is based in the US – remote or hybrid. Preferred Skills

Knowledge of communications surveillance/compliance in a Financial Services context (FinTech, Consultancy, Compliance Technology vendor or Financial Institution). Knowledge of AI and Gen-AI to build advanced analytics leveraging data. Exposure to AWS, security, metering, and billing based on consumption. What do we offer?

Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. Salary will be set based on factors including internal equity, experience, location, and training.
