Responsible Sourcing Manager Company: LEGO Singapore Pte Ltd Location: Central Salary: SGD7,000 - SGD9,000 Job Description

Under the guidance of Responsible Sourcing (RS) PEM Category Lead to manage the dialogues with electronic suppliers on RS requirements. In collaboration with Procurement and other global function team to support on-boarding of new electronic suppliers. Ongoing compliance work in the Responsible Sourcing team including engaging with suppliers and licensing partners on RBP implementation, identifying root causes of non-compliances and encouraging continuous improvement including training. Ongoing compliance work includes scheduling and following up on audits, specifically for electronic suppliers. This will mostly require annual audits (depending on risk profile) and potentially more high risk non compliances to manage. Manage Conflict Mineral work on electronic suppliers, including identify and mitigate conflict mineral risk, and communicate with key stakeholders internally and externally.

The Responsible Sourcing team aims to ensure that the LEGO Group’s ethical, social and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners and LEGO production sites. These requirements are set out in the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles (RBP) that all strategic suppliers and license partners must adhere to. The RBP focuses on ensuring fair and decent working conditions, safeguarding children, and minimizing environmental impacts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field (preferred). 5+ years of relevant experience in managing social compliance within retail or supply chains in Southeast Asia. Experience with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct compliance; ideally within a global Consumer Electronics brand or the Electronics industry. Knowledge of conflict minerals requirements and methods to manage conflict mineral risk. Ability to map and assess social compliance risk, present findings to key stakeholders, and drive corrective and preventive action plans. Experience training suppliers on social compliance requirements. Experience reading and analyzing social audits (e.g., SMETA, ICTI/IETP, SA8000, BSCI, etc.). Solid knowledge and deep interest in international human and labor rights and CSR standards. Experience working within global teams and understanding cultural diversity. Willingness to travel regularly within Asia, with some long-haul trips possible (e.g., Europe 1-2 times per year). Collaborative approach with focus on root causes, driving results, and continuous improvement; ability to bring bold, differentiated ideas to the table. Curiosity about social compliance trends and risk, with the ability to translate insights into solutions. Resilience and ability to work in an agile environment. English advanced (Level 13–16) required. Language skills in Southeast Asia countries (e.g., Indonesia, Vietnam) a nice-to-have.
