This position involves a full-time traveling assignment supporting Data Center and EV projects nationwide, reporting to the Global Critical Facilities (TECH) vertical. Prior experience in data centers or advanced technology projects is strongly preferred. Position Description: Manage the end-to-end Commissioning processes for new or retrofit facilities to ensure they meet contract requirements and operational standards, integrating these activities into the overall Quality Control plan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee site-specific Commissioning activities through all levels for new or retrofit facilities. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams. Implement policies supporting project schedules and contractual obligations. Coordinate with Quality Control and MEP teams to ensure successful completion of checklists, documents, and testing activities. Understand major project milestones and contractual obligations, including third-party Commissioning plans. Manage Commissioning and QC plans to meet contractual turnovers. Define and allocate on-site resources for trade partners, vendors, and staff. Create and manage commissioning schedules, including testing, cleaning, and inspections, minimizing overlaps. Collaborate with equipment vendors and ensure adherence to QC standards. Facilitate meetings to communicate plans and schedule updates. Contribute to project-specific QC plan development. Develop and maintain online databases and dashboards for inspections, equipment details, and project trends. Review project documents, support pre-installation meetings, and manage punch list prevention and deficiencies. Coordinate third-party testing and inspections, analyze results. Support onboarding of new staff, trade partners, and vendors. Perform delivery inspections of OFCI & CFCI equipment with project teams. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 12 years of construction experience, including roles such as MEP engineer or superintendent, with PE license preferred. Minimum 5 years of Commissioning experience bridging fieldwork and engineering responsibilities. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and quality management; USACE certification is a plus. ASHRAE Certification or in-depth understanding of ASHRAE commissioning processes, especially for data centers. Experience with Building Management Systems, environmental controls, and electrical power systems. Ability to interpret complex contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Travel flexibility required.
