Commissioning Manager (Salt Lake City, UT). Turner Construction Company seeks a Commissioning Manager to lead end-to-end Commissioning processes and delivery for new facilities or retrofits, ensuring alignment with owners’ project requirements and Quality Control plans. Responsibilities

Manage site-specific end-to-end Commissioning activities during Level 1 through Level 5 for delivery of new or retrofit of existing facility. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams to streamline project delivery and ensure full compliance. Implement policies and procedures to support project schedule and contractual obligations to deliver a fully compliant project. Coordinate with project site Quality Control (QC) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to ensure checklists, engineering documents, and commissioning activities follow approved test scripts and commissioning plans. Understand major milestones, client/GC obligations, and commissioning plans created by the client’s third-party Commissioning Agent. Manage Commissioning and QC plan per contractual turnovers to client. Define and manage on-site resource requirements for trade partners, equipment vendors, commissioning agents, and project staff to achieve the project schedule. Create and integrate Start-up and Commissioning schedules into the project schedule, including testing, cleaning, and site inspections; sequence Level 3 through Level 5 activities to minimize overlap of Level 4 activities. Collaborate with OFCI equipment vendors for efficient installations and feedback to client and QC Managers. Ensure vendor adherence to the QC plan with necessary resources, documentation, and checklists prior to start-up (Energization). Facilitate Start-up and Commissioning meetings to communicate the QC Plan and schedule updates. Contribute to development of project-specific QC Plan and online equipment database for consistency in inspection tests, equipment details, and naming conventions. Oversee development of Quality and Closeout dashboards; review weekly to identify trends and notify vendors/partners of issues. Develop understanding of project-specific contract documents (contracts, plans, specifications, codes). Support pre-installation meetings with trade partners and vendors and communicate contract expectations. Establish and manage a punch list prevention plan and related Commissioning deficiencies with the project team. Arrange for third-party testing and inspections; analyze and report results. Participate in onboarding of project staff, trade partners, and vendors related to Quality and Commissioning. Perform OFCI & Contractor-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (CFCI) equipment delivery inspections with Project Superintendents and Trade Foremen to confirm compliance with submittals. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors. Turner Construction provides compensation and benefits that add to your total compensation; this position is salaried exempt. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program with minimum of 12 years of General Construction experience in MEP engineering, supervision, or related roles, including professional engineering and trade-specific work. Minimum of 5 years of Commissioning experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities. Well-rounded knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and materials; Construction Quality Management/USACE certification is highly recommended. ASHRAE Commissioning certification or in-depth understanding of ASHRAE commissioning processes related to MEP systems (Level 1–5). Experience with Building Management Systems, environmental controls, and electrical power management systems. Ability to interpret contract documents, owner project requirements, drawings, specifications, and schedules. Travel may be required. Turner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
