Enterprise Procurement Senior Contracts Manager – CVS Health Base pay range: $82,940.00/yr - $182,549.00/yr This position supports the CVS Health enterprise by leading a team of professionals responsible for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing IT and Non-IT contracts for non-merchandise goods and services, in accordance with corporate contract and purchasing policies. The role may involve leading project teams with CVS senior leadership, driving enterprise-wide savings initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, supporting supplier diversity, and assisting with supplier integration related to mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities

Draft, prepare and review contract documents to minimize exposure and maximize enterprise value in line with company policies. Lead supplier contract processes by negotiating key terms to provide risk mitigation and value for the enterprise. Analyze contract requirements, provisions, terms and conditions for compliance with laws, policies, and business procedures. Communicate the importance and intent of terms and conditions to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with Legal, Sourcing (IT and Non-IT), Global Security, Information Governance, Risk Management, Privacy, Tax, Finance, and other stakeholders to reflect current policies in contract documents and communications. Support RFP development by providing contractual documentation and addressing questions from participants’ legal counsel. Act as the primary liaison between Legal, Finance, senior leadership, business teams, and vendors to resolve escalated contract issues. Identify contractual risks and advise CVS management on issues arising from contracts. Participate in presentations and webinars to promote policy compliance enterprise-wide. Utilize tools (Microsoft Office, SAP/Ariba suite, Webex, etc.) to streamline tasks and communications. Present complex deal concepts to Senior Leadership and ensure adherence to contracts policies. Ensure compliance with Corporate Contract and Purchasing policies across business units. Manage multiple high-visibility contracts/projects with minimal oversight; work independently or in a team. Mentor staff and collaborate to maintain Enterprise Procurement templates and processes. Lead development and maintenance of purchasing terms and conditions; monitor supplier performance against requirements. Provide analysis and interpretation of contractual rights and obligations; ensure due diligence in contract terms. Support special projects and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Privacy, Internal Audit, and Tax. Lead IT and Non-IT Sourcing and Contract Management efforts within the team. Required Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of professional work experience Minimum 5 years in a contracts support environment Minimum 5 years drafting complex contractual documents and terms Minimum 3 years advising senior leaders/executives on contract law and risk Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and high-volume negotiations Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Ariba Contract Management or similar tools Experience negotiating non-merchandise/indirect purchases Experience in Retail and/or Healthcare industries Legal degree or degree in contract administration/public administration/business management (MBA or JD preferred) Professional certifications (C.P.M., C.P.P.O., C.F.C.M., C.P.C.M.) preferred Experience managing and developing people Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and/or JD desired Pay and Benefits
