As the Construction Manager Owner’s Representative, you will champion large-scale data-center builds from concept through commissioning, acting as the client’s trusted advisor on scope, schedule, cost, and risk. Drive multiple green-field and expansion data-center programs, aligning budgets, milestones, and quality targets with executive goals. Lead cross-functional collaboration among design, construction, IT, compliance, and finance stakeholders, ensuring seamless hand-offs and accountability. Oversee contractor selection, contract negotiations, change management, and vendor performance to protect the owner’s interests. Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost-control dashboards (Procore or similar). Guide Level 1-5 commissioning, capacity planning, and MEP resilience strategies to meet 24/7 uptime requirements. Implement data-driven KPIs that optimize performance, sustainability, and total cost of ownership. Identify risks early, draft mitigation plans, and present concise progress reports to senior leadership. Skill Set
3+ years managing mission-critical capital projects (data centers, cloud, or large-scale tech builds) in an owner-side capacity. Deep knowledge of power distribution, cooling, and low-voltage/IT integration as well as hands-on commissioning oversight. Fluency with project-controls software (P6, Procore, BIM/Bluebeam) and familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools. Proven ability to influence diverse teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, IT, or related field; PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or OSHA 30 a plus. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Preferred Extras
