Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead the Manufacturing Team. This role oversees day-to-day manufacturing activities at Lucid's Casa Grande site, with eight direct reports, reporting to the Senior Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety for Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record directing a site-wide EHS function and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, growth environment. This role supports day-to-day operations by guiding EHS programs and overseeing EHS team members in General Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Department and Powertrain Manufacturing. Responsibilities
Oversee all AZ Operations EHS manufacturing activities within Stamping, BIW, Paint, General Assembly, Powertrain, and extended Lucid locations. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS Management System elements for all manufacturing operations. Support on-floor activities daily by attending tier meetings, resolving issues from team members, and coaching the floor with the EHS engagement process. Develop and maintain strong communication within manufacturing operations. Participate in and lead Job Hazard Identification and establish operational controls for new and evolving processes. Ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Lead incident analysis to determine root cause, corrective actions, and preventative measures. Design safe workspaces and create, implement, and measure policies to minimize job-related hazards. Manage high-visibility projects as a liaison between Lucid Motors and third-party organizations to meet aggressive timelines. Drive employee engagement programs as a foundation to EHS integration in the workplace. Provide support and liaison within the EHS team and develop/conduct education and training across manufacturing operations. Represent EHS in multi-functional engagements and conduct workplace inspections, audits, and assurance practices, driving corrective and preventative actions and KPIs. Qualifications
Minimum BS/BA degree; Master’s preferred in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, business, or related EHS field. Ability to oversee EHS efforts across multiple locations and projects. Minimum 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience (automotive, coatings, chemical, semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.). Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and business practices. Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulatory requirements, preferably in Arizona. Hands-on experience with EHS Management Systems, including education/training, risk assessment, and incident investigation. Strong communication skills with manufacturing teams and key stakeholders. Excellent English written and verbal communication; ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Well organized and detail oriented. Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems and implementation. Manufacturing is a 24/7 operation; must be available to support occasional evenings and weekends and respond to site emergencies as needed.
