Lecturer of Aerospace Engineering or Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering
in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with a preferred start date of January 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position located in Georgia. Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Service to Department, College, University, and/or professional community is expected. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications
A PhD degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline. Expertise to teach courses in Aerospace Engineering, such as Spacecraft Design, Spacecraft Dynamics and Controls, Spacecraft propulsion, Orbital Mechanics and their laboratories. Teaching familiarity with face-to-face, online or hybrid modalities. Record of past teaching Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering courses at the undergraduate level. At least 2 years of experience in the Aerospace Engineering industry. Required Documents to Attach
