The Stellantis Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization (PVPC) is the "brain" of the Propulsion Systems division aimed at translating Performance and Functional Objectives into Controls features implemented in the embedded SW.

Core Missions:

Translate system specifications and objectives into requirements.

Distribute control functions and networking strategies.

Implement core functions and diagnostics algorithm design.

Validate the functions to requirements.

Within PVPC Organization the Controls Management Team acts as the main interface to the individual vehicle programs ensuring that its needs are met. As a result of significant challenges embraced by Stellantis to become the leader of the new era of mobility, we are currently looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Controls Manager based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and program coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Hybrid Electronic Control Units. What will you be doing?

Providing feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.

Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System Community as primary interface.

Coordinating Controls Features development.

Defining Feature Roll‑out Plan (what and when) that aligns to overall program milestones and objectives.

Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, quality assessment and risk mitigation.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience (of which at least 5 years in automotive).

Proven record of working on complex systems, delivering high quality and robust technical solutions.

Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Previous experience as Controls/SW developer, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus.

Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
