As part of the Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization, you will contribute to translating Performance and Functional Objectives into controls features implemented in embedded software. Your work will ensure that Power, Torque, and Drivability experiences are effectively controlled and validated. Responsibilities
Translate system specifications and objectives into requirements. Distribute control functions and develop networking strategies. Implement core functions and design diagnostics algorithms. Validate functions against requirements using advanced virtual facilities. Design and execute tests on software features using Hardware in the Loop. Interact with the Calibration team to pre-calibrate new software algorithms. Support lesson learned sessions for escaped issues to improve testing quality. Troubleshoot issues to facilitate root cause analysis and issue resolution. Essential Skills
Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in the automotive sector. Proficiency in working within an Agile environment. Excellent knowledge of Simulink models. Fluent in English. Possession of a valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous engineering experience in controls/software development, testing, or calibration is a plus. Proactive attitude with a sense of ownership and accountability. Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for 1-2 days of remote work per week, depending on program needs. The primary work location will be in Auburn Hills. Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $39.00/hr.
