Overview Drywall Estimator — Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a well-established and growing drywall contractor known for quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and long-term success? This is a great opportunity to be part of a laid-back yet high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate takeoffs and estimates using OST and QuickBid
Review plans/specs to create complete, competitive bids
Calculate labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs
Collaborate with teams to meet client goals and deadlines
Support PMs in turning bids into active projects
Join preconstruction meetings and assist with cost planning
Contribute to value engineering and project phasing
Coordinate with clients, GCs, vendors, and subs
Keep organized records of bids, changes, and awards
Represent the company professionally in all pre-award stages
Qualifications
2-3+ years of drywall estimating experience
Proficiency with OST, QuickBid, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of structural framing and exterior systems
Experience with large commercial projects such as hospitals, casinos, hotels, and schools
