Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a small team of Industrial Engineers Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements. Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE). Develop methods to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more effectively. Strong analytical, creative thinking and project management skills. Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities. Recommend capital investment strategy to meet product delivery and cost targets. Self-starter and able to work with minimal direction Evaluate the effects of schedule and product design changes. Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow. Ability to prioritize many details into a broad view of the total organization. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes. Ability to work effectively with other engineers, technicians, operators, and management. Understanding of capital acquisition process – knowledge or background preferred. Working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies. Participating in and leading Kaizen events.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or Relevant. Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methods. US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
