Responsibilities

Subject matter expert on manufacturing processes including equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and workflow Develop and improve standard work Identify process improvement opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc. Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improve process flow Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements Ability to work effectively with other engineers, technicians, operators, and management Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE) Understanding of capital acquisition process – knowledge or background preferred Working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies Participating in and leading Kaizen events Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 3-5 years of prior relevant experience Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, and other methods U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts Learn More & Apply

RTX/Pratt & Whitney emphasizes blended work environments. This role is onsite: employees will work primarily onsite in production and maintenance activities. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range is a good-faith estimate and depends on factors including role, experience, location, education, and skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, and more, with specifics depending on the business unit and any applicable collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual incentive programs depending on position level and collective-bargaining status. Payments are not guaranteed and depend on various factors including performance and company results. This role is based in the U.S. If the candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
