Responsibilities
Track subcontractors’ progress on the job, maintain the project schedule, and coordinate with various agencies for reporting and compliance with project documents and specifications. Manage field crew including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents. Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics. Implement cost control measures, job costing, quantity reporting, and forecasting.
Essential Skills
Commercial Superintendent project experience ranging from $500,000 to $5 million in size. Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent field experience in commercial projects. Proficiency in construction software such as MS Project and Procore. Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures. Understanding of general contracts, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with blueprint reading and construction supervision. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety management. Experience with tenant improvement projects. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
