Job Overview
Full‑time position located in Indianapolis, IN or West Lafayette, IN. The role involves developing and designing electronic enclosures for aero gas turbine engines, ensuring the enclosure definition meets project requirements from concept through qualification test. Key Responsibilities
Perform component trade studies and create/review functional and physical interfaces for enclosures. Collaborate with electronics engineering to develop enclosures that meet electronic and mechanical requirements. Support creation of detailed drawings, model‑based definition, and procurement of conforming hardware. Orchestrate technical reviews/design reviews and communicate solutions to project/customer, developing technical presentations and reports. Assure compliance with applicable product certification requirements (e.g., RTCA/DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑810). Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of design experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering, OR PhD in Engineering. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in electronic enclosure design. Experience with CAD and analysis tools such as Siemens NX and ANSYS. Familiarity with cross‑discipline engineering concepts including manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis. Knowledge of aero gas turbine control systems. Benefits and Compensation
