Overview

Job Title: Systems/Software Technical Lead – (F130 Electronic Engine Control). Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Hybrid Schedule). The Systems/Software Technical Lead will have direct responsibility for leading a team of systems engineers through the development, testing and qualifying airworthy/certified engine control software. The role involves mentoring the team, supporting multiple stages of the project lifecycle from concept brief to design, development, testing and verification, and collaborating with electronics engineering and other engineering groups. The program focuses on the F130 EEC for the B-52 program, with low-rate initial production slated for 2029. What You’ll Be Doing

Perform component trade studies for new and existing hardware, create and review functional and physical interfaces, and generate analysis requirements for enclosure. Collaborate with electronics engineering to develop enclosures that meet electronic and mechanical requirements and guidelines. Support creation of detailed drawings and model-based definition; support project/manufacturing to procure conforming hardware. Orchestrate Technical Review/Design Review and communicate solutions with the project/customer; develop technical presentations and associated technical reports. Ensure compliance with applicable product certification requirements (e.g., RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810). Who We’re Looking For

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Physics) with 5+ years of experience in Systems design, OR Master’s degree in STEM with 3+ years of experience in Systems design, OR JD/PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering or Business Management U.S. Citizen status required Preferred Requirements

Previous Software/Systems lead experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) program Experience leading a diverse Software/Systems development team through lifecycle stages including design, test and qualification of a software package Strong technical leadership, people management and project management skills What We Offer
