FTI . The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements for a project. This role provides technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. The position serves as Control Team Leader/Project Controls Manager on medium and large-sized projects or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team. The role requires collaboration at all levels within the project team. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for project execution. Plan and organize the setup of the project baseline in the project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis. Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline. Provide technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, communicate the reasons for variances, and propose mitigation plans to Project Management. Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures to control and ensure the integrity of work as defined by the contract. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination Travel: 15-25% Work Schedule: Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday; work may be required outside these hours to meet business needs Company and Benefits
