Business Development Manager (BDM)
with experience in
DoD contracts, defense sales, EW/ISR platforms, and program capture . The ideal candidate has a strong track record in
C5ISR platforms, DoD procurement, government contracting, and customer relationship management . This is a fully REMOTE position, with preferences for applicants in the western region of the United States. However, all qualified candidates will be considered. No employer visa sponsorship is available. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans to achieve annual and quarterly bookings and revenue growth targets. Lead business development, proposal management, market intelligence, and strategic partnership development. Assess and manage Probability of Win (pWIN) and Price-to-Win (PTW) for key opportunities, targeting multi-year DoD or OEM contracts. Focus on EW/ISR, mission payloads, C5ISR, and defense solutions. Execute customer travel, trade shows, and marketing plans within budget. Build and maintain long-term relationships with DoD and government clients. Requirements Qualifications: 5+ years of sales experience, with 3+ years in defense industry sales. Proven success selling to DoD, EW/ISR, C5ISR, and mission systems markets. Knowledge of cybersecurity, encryption, and embedded computing solutions is a plus. Strong technical presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Highly organized self-starter, able to manage sales pipeline, travel, and customer follow-up independently. Home office setup required; proximity to Hayward, CA preferred. Ability to travel up to 50%. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. U.S. Citizenship required (role involves direct work on U.S. Government contracts). This position is contingent on the applicant providing proof of U.S. Citizenship.
